Lisa Horton makes one of a kind beautiful jewelry. Lisa re-imagines nature’s patterns and her hands transform them into human adornment, necklaces, bracelets and earrings. Lisa sculpts powdered metals into one of a kind, mixed metal pieces of silver, bronze, copper and steel. She mixes leather with metals for the final products and also incorporates semi-precious stones for the final touch. Lisa has studied this art with very famous people, has been creating jewelry for many years and offers classes. Swing by, take a look, try some pieces on and take one home.
Transplanted from Arkansas to the Wood River Valley twenty plus years ago Lisa Horton remains a southerner but loves the wide open spaces and clear waters of Idaho. Horton mixes her handmade bronze, copper and silver pendants and earring dangles with pearls and gemstones. She also offers hand-forged copper bracelets strung with metal sliders and forged fine silver and mixed metal rings. Lisa insists her pieces be well balanced and easy to wear, feel good to the skin and flatter the wearer. Lisa has been making and selling jewelry in the valley for over ten years and shows her jewelry in places such as Tribes Interiors in Ketchum. She also occasionally offers classes teaching metal clay techniques in her Hailey studio. Visit www.lisahortonjewelry.com for class schedules.
