Ketchum Mayor: Keep the Farmers’ Market at its current location.
“Keep the weekly Farmers’ Market at its current location on Fourth Street between East Avenue and Walnut Avenue. I ask that the City of Ketchum support the Farmers’ Market in their goal of supplying fresh fruits and vegetables to the citizens of the Wood River Valley. Please renew the event permit for the Wood River Farmers’ Market Association and continue to waive the fees associated with the special events permit as the city has done in the past.”

Thanks for supporting your Farmers’ Market !
Farmers market should be in the heart of the city! Many times I shop there and then do my downtown Ketchum shopping!
Dear Nina:
After surviving the Great Recession, I feel like we really need to keep the downtown core vital and full of energy. For this reason, I think the Farmer’s Market should remain next to the towne square. And then we can build out from there with other events.
By the way, Nina, I think you are doing a great job and I like the way you are promoting Ketchum. I live in East Fork so I can’t vote for you, unfortunately.
Thanks,
Sheila Liermann
