There have been a lot of changes going on this month - eBay has launched the eBay Partner Network, taking over affiliate management from Commission Junction and making it necessary for people using this service to switch over (people still listed with CJ have until the end of April to make the change).

To accommodate this Wired Studios has also updated their phpBay software to work with the new changes as well as relocating aspects of this program to a new home providing a safe and stable environment for continued growth.

There are some growing pains but on the whole most of these changes have gone fairly well. If you are using these programs there are a couple important things to consider:

• You will have to change over from CJ to the eBay Partner Network by the end of April. This requires applying to eBay and getting an account with them.
• You will need to update your version of phpBay to work with the new identifiers to make sure you get credited for your commissions. Go to store.wiredstudios.com and log into your account where you can find your registered products and download the most recent version. • After loading the updated version to your site, go in and select eBay as your affiliate type, insert your eBay PID & Campaign ID and you should be good to go! Continue making or start making money with your wordpress niche store.

Also, if you are an affiliate with phpBay itself (this is different than an eBay affiliate), then you will want to make sure you update your links as the old ones are no longer effective due to a site changeover.

• You may log into your account to get the updated links for text and banners or you can manually change http://affiliates.wiredstudios.com/.... to
  http://www.phpbay.com/affiliates/... keeping your unique identifier at the end intact. This change is necessary if you are displaying this link with your plugin at the end of your money making auctions or if you are promoting this elsewhere in a text link or banner.

Hopefully that all makes sense, it is not that difficult of a change to make but very important to keep creating income with your eBay affiliate & WordPress niche store.
